Forum for Research in English, Centre for Advanced Studies and Research in English Language and Literature, Department of English, Farook College (Autonomous), launched the first lecture of the “Erudite Lecture Series” on August 8, 2023. Dr. N.P. Ashley, Assistant Professor, Department of English, St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, delivered the inaugural lecture on “Watching the Text: Reading the Performance; Some Notes on Theatrical Sensibility, Classroom, and Criticism”.

Ms. Shemin K., Research Scholar and Secretary, Research Forum, welcomed the gathering. Dr. K. Rizwana Sultana, the Head of the Department of English, presided over the function, and Dr. Zeenath Mohamed Kunhi, Programme Coordinator and Assistant Professor of the department, felicitated the occasion. Ms. Mithula Thomas, Research Scholar of the Department, delivered the vote of thanks.
