IIC

Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in academic institutions. The vision and mission of IIC typically align with the broader goals of promoting innovative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit among students, faculty, and institutions. IIC Farook College was formed during the academic year 2022-23 to develop and maintain an innovation ecosystem.

VISION OF IIC

To create an ecosystem that encourages, nurtures, and promotes innovation and entrepreneurship at Farook College (Autonomous) by enabling students and other stakeholders to develop into dynamic centers of learning, research, and societal contribution.

MISSION OF IIC

  1. Promote Innovation: To establish and promote a sustainable ecosystem for innovation by encouraging students and faculty to work on creative ideas and challenges.
  2. Support Startups: To enable students and faculty to initiate startups and entrepreneurial ventures by providing the necessary resources, mentoring, and support systems.
  3. Collaboration: To establish strong linkages with industries, startups, and government organizations for hands-on experience, industry exposure, and real-world problem-solving.
  4. Skill Development: To develop the entrepreneurial skill sets and innovation mindset of students through workshops, training sessions, and innovation challenges.
  5. Incubation Support: To provide access incubation support and other resources that foster the growth of innovative ideas from conceptualization to commercialization.
