Department Conducted a webinar (First one organized in Farook college) on 27.05.2020.The webinar was open to all faculty and students of Farook college.Dr.Jisha.P,Asst Professor, Department of Physics, Delhi University was The resource person. The webinar started with welcome notes by Mr. Midhun shah and Muhammad jubeer. In the presentation lasted about one hour Dr.Jisha pointed out the prominent women in scientific history, their struggles and perseverance to achieve scientific goodwill. Ms.Neshwa, Physics association Secretary proposed vote of Thanks .About 50 participants attended the program

2 .Moon Day Celebration -LUNA-Let's traverse the luna attic! (20.07.2020)

As a part of Moon Day Observations, PG and Research Department of Physics, Farook college conducted a webinar on the topic: Solar system-Revisited, by one of the most eminent science speaker Dr.Vaisakhan Thampi D S (Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Mahatma Gandhi college, Thiruvananthapuram) on 20 July 2020 at 11 AM, in Google meet, for which nearly 180 students and researchers from different institutions participated.

Mr.Anas Swalih P (Assistant Professor, Dept of Physics, Farook College). Dr.Yoosuf Ameen (Assistant Professor, Dept of Physics, Farook College) moderated the session. The webinar was so informative and helped in reconstructing our vision on solar system with advanced knowledge. The presentation was so exact and useful that some of the big concepts of physics were discussed in a very unique and simple manner. At the end of the session, a chance was given for the participants to interact and clear their doubts on the topic. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Neswa Nasir (Student, 2nd year, BSc Physics, Farook College).

3 .International Webinar on Frontiers in Experimental Physics (IWFEP-2020) - 05.08.2020-06.08.2020

Department of Physics, Farook College organized a two day International Webinar on Frontiers in Experimental Physics (IWFEP-2020) during 5-6, August, 2020. This was envisaged as a program through which Young researchers get acquainted with research trends in the field of experimental Physics. This comprehensive ideas will be useful to evaluate and reorganize research works according to the new normal academic exercises.
