Dr. P.N. Musfir completed M.Sc. Physics(2007) and M.Phil Physics (2008) from Jamal Mohamed College (Autonomous), affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. He obtained PhD in Photonics from International School of Photonics, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in 2021. He has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Farook College since 2013. Previously he worked as Lecturer at HM College of Science & Technology, Manjeri. He is a research guide for University of Calicut. His doctoral research focused on Germanium Based Chalcogenide Glasses for Photonic Applications. His area of research includes Preparation and characterisation of various types of chalcogenide glasses for optoelectronic applications.
