Office of the Controller of Examination

The Office of the Controller of Examinations (COE) at our institution is a dedicated and autonomous entity committed to ensuring integrity, transparency, and the timely administration of all examinations in strict alignment with the college’s academic calendar. Key responsibilities of the COE include the comprehensive oversight of examination processes, from assessment and evaluation to the prompt declaration of results and the facilitation of degree issuance. Driven by a commitment to modernize the traditional examination and assessment framework, the COE is focused on developing a reliable, accurate, and efficient system that meets the evolving needs of a knowledge-driven society.

In pursuit of these goals, the COE has integrated advanced technological tools to streamline information exchange, improve monitoring, and enhance operational efficiency. A notable achievement is the establishment of an ERP-based automated examination system, which automates several processes, including student registration, issuance of hall tickets, seating arrangements, and the assignment of invigilators and examiners. This system also ensures accurate and timely score calculation, all while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

To maintain high standards, the CoE regularly reviews and updates examination formats, sets guidelines for the conduct of exams, and ensures strict adherence to these standards by faculty members, fostering an environment of fairness and consistency. This dedication to continuous improvement underpins the institution's vision of a progressive, technology-driven examination system that upholds the highest standards of academic excellence.
