The Department of Psychology at Farook College collaborated with the Thanal-Daya Rehabilitation Trust on June 26, 2023. The event, starting at 1:00 PM, garnered active participation from students and distinguished guests.

Dr. Suvrad, Head of the Department (Self Financing Division), welcomed the chief guests, while Dr. Nisha K, Head of the Department (Aided), delivered an empowering address. Dr. Aysha Swapna, principal of Farook College, conducted the inaugural function. Adam Sada and Nadeer from Thanal led an engaging session, introducing the trust's holistic rehabilitation initiatives. Founded in 2008 in Vadakara, Thanal aims to reintegrate beneficiaries and families into society. The session emphasized various institutions under Thanal, including child development and pre-vocational centers. It concluded at 3:30 p.m. with an enlightening documentary. Dr. Fathima Bushra Saliha, a faculty member, extended a warm vote of thanks. This session provided a unique opportunity for students to apply their psychology education in real-world settings, highlighting the meaningful impact of the Thanal-Daya Rehabilitation Trust in the community.
