Honoring Ceremony of Algerian Professor Waciny Laredj who won the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 'Great Arab Minds Award' (GAM) in the field of literature and arts was organized by The Centre of Arabic & African Studies (CAAS), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in collaboration with PG and Research Department of Arabic (Farook College, Calicut), The World Organization for Creativity for Peace (London), The Academy of Excellence (India), All India Association of Arabic Teachers and Scholars (New Delhi), Department of Arabic (Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi), Department of Arabic (Aligarh Muslim University), Department of Arabic (Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi), Department of Arabic (Delhi University) and Department of Arabic (Calicut University) on February 17^th at 08:00 PM Indian time on the Zoom platform. 

Prof. (Dr.) Mujeebur Rahman, Chairperson, Centre of Arabic & African Studies (CAAS), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi welcomed the session. Wafaa Abed Al Razzaq, an Iraqi poet and writer presided over the function. Prof. (Dr.) Habib Rahman (Jamia Millia Islamia), Dr Mostafizur Rahman (Assam University, Silchar), Dr. Abdul haq Belabid (Qatar University), Dr. Abbas K. P (Farook College, Kerala) and other academicians from different universities of India spoke on the occasion. Professor Waciny Laredj delivered reply speech at the end of session.
