<p><img alt="" src="https://farookcollege.ac.in/imgserver/uploads/attachments/Ed__aec9e945-e094-49cb-a784-26dc985a855e_.jpg" style="height:100%; width:100%" /></p> <p>Established in 1949, the PG & Research Department of Arabic, Farook College (Autonomous), offers BA in Arabic & Islamic History, MA in Arabic, and PhD in Arabic programmes. Recognized as a Research Centre by the University of Calicut in 1999, the department has produced 59 PhDs, including 35 in the last five years.</p> <p>It publishes the peer-reviewed journal “Majallathu al Sabah lil Buhooth” and actively promotes academic engagement through faculty exchange programmes with visiting foreign faculty, student exchange programmes with foreign universities, and international paper presentations by faculty members. The department also takes pride in notable student achievements, including NET/JRF qualifications and various prestigious scholarships.</p>
