Calicut city Deputy Commissioner, Shri Swapnil Madhukar Mahajan IPS inaugurated “Youth for Children” the one day workshop for NSS leaders of various colleges organized by Childline Calicut in association with District Legal Services Authority, and Calicut University National Service Scheme at Farook College Audio Visual Theatre. He said impressive social changes can be brought about if youth collaborates in childcare and there by makes a child friendly society.

M P Shaijal, District Legal Services Athority secretary and sub judge was the chief guest. Dr. KM Naseer, Farook College Principal and  Childline director presided over the function. Nusaibath Nisar M, NSS Calicut district coordination Member, Dr. Rafeek, and Mansoor P, programme officers of NSS Farook college unit offered felicitations. Childline Calicut deputy director Dr. Abdul Jabbar welcomed the gathering and railway Childline coordinator Sonali Picasso proposed vote of thanks.

Childline district coordinator, Muhammed Afsal gave a session on Child right laws and Kunjoyi Puthoor handled a session on Child friendly society.
