On June 20, 2024, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Farook College hosted a one-day workshop on Research Methodology, led by expert Muhammed Swalih. Running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the workshop aimed to enhance participants' understanding of research methodologies relevant to journalism and mass communication. The event featured an introductory lecture on research fundamentals, sessions on research design and data collection, and practical exercises with a Q&A segment. Attendees gained valuable insights into effective research design, data collection techniques, and hands-on experience with practical applications. Feedback was positive, highlighting the workshop’s depth and practicality, and participants expressed interest in future events.
