In a remarkable display of solidarity and community spirit, students from Farook College have successfully raised ten lakh rupees to support a critically ill Alumnus of the college, in need of urgent medical care. The fundraising event, organized by the college's student body (NSS units, NCC wings, Pain Palliative wing, Hastham) was a resounding success, demonstrating the power of collective action and empathy among the youth.

The event, held over the past month, saw various Institutes in Farookabad coming together for a cause. The following institutes in Farookabad took part in the fundraising event along with Farook College(Autonomous)

1. Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College (RUA)
2. Farook Institute of Management Studies (FIMS)
3. Farook Training College (FTC)
4. Al-Farook Educational Center (ALFEC)
5. Farook Higher Secondary School (Aided)
6. Farook Higher Secondary School (Un-Aided)
7. Farook ALP School
8. Farook High School
9. AL-Farook Residential Senior Secondary School
10. Farook Institute of Teacher Education 

The overwhelming response from students, faculty, and the local community helped the fundraiser exceed its initial target, reaching a total of ten lakh rupees.

In a formal ceremony held at the college today, the Chairman of the Fundraising Committee, Dr. P. Abdul Gafoor and Convener of the Committee, Mr. P. Mohammed Rasheed, officially handed over the report of fundraising to the Principal, Dr. K. A. Aysha Swapna. The report detailed the contributions and efforts of the students, along with the final amount collected.

While accepting the report, Principal praised the students for their dedication and compassion. "This achievement is a testament to the values we hold here at Farookabad. The generosity and hard work of our students will make a significant difference in the life of someone in need", the Principal remarked.

The funds are promptly transferred to the patient's family to cover the medical expenses. The college administration has also expressed its commitment to continue supporting such noble causes in the future, fostering a culture of social responsibility among students.

This event has not only raised crucial funds but has also inspired other institutions to take similar initiatives, proving that when a community comes together, extraordinary things can be achieved.
