Farook College Sociology Students Participate in OLOI Internship Programme.

A group of talented students from the Sociology Department (2020–23 Batch) at Farook College recently had the opportunity to participate in a three-day training programme at Vagamon. This valuable experience was part of the OLOI (One Local Self-Government, One Idea) internship programme, led by the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC).
The students who attended the training programme were Fida Basheer, Aysha Mariyam Abdul Kader, Fathima Riya K, Najma Farzana K, Shana, Fathima Rifa CK, and Shahila A. Their active involvement showcased their dedication and enthusiasm for learning and contributing to local self-governance.
Under the guidance of the esteemed Kerala Institute for Local Administration (KILA), the training programme aimed to equip the students with valuable insights into the functioning of local self-government bodies. It provided them with a platform to explore innovative ideas and enhance their understanding of governance at the grassroots level.
