Farook College: The Higher Secondary School Teacher Transformation Programme introduced by the Directorate of General Education, Kerala Education Department, in association with the Directorate of Collegiate Education, started at Farook College, Kozhikode. The ten-day residential programme hosted by the PG and Research Department of Arabic, Farook College will provide training to teachers in various areas like teacher empowerment, psychology education, classroom management, research promotion, poetry camps, awareness of artificial intelligence, etc. A national-level seminar and poetry evenings will be held on the occasion of World Arabic Language Day 2023. 

The program was inaugurated by Mr. M. Santosh Kumar, Director, Kozhikode Regional Deputy Director of Higher Secondary Section. Dr. K.A. Aysha Swapna, Principal, Farook College, delivered the keynote address. Ms. Thara Babu, Principal, Feroke Ganapat Govt. Higher Secondary School, and Dr. AT Abdul Jabbar, Senate Member, University of Calicut, spoke on the occasion. Dr. Yunoos Salim, HOD and Coordinator of the programme, PG and Research Department of Arabic, Farook College, presided over the inaugural session. Dr. PMA Wahab, the teacher coordinator of the programme welcomed the gathering and Muhammad Shamim PK proposed a vote of thanks.
