Dr Azeez Tharuvana, Assistant Professor & Head of Malayalam, Farook College (autonomous) received Sixth Kalabhavan Mani Award (Manimuzhakkam Award) constituted by Paattukoottam Kozhikode. 

He won the award for his research publication, ‘Living Ramayanas: Exploring the Plurality of the Epic in Wayanad and the World’ under the best research work category
