The department of Library and Information Science organized a two-day workshop on advanced KOHA on December 20-21,2023. On first day,the programme commenced at 9 am with a solemn prayer. Shabna T P, Assistant Professor and Head warmly welcomed the attendees. She expressed gratitude for the presence of participants and briefly outlined the significance of the workshop. Dr.Mansoor Babu V, College Librarian delivered the inaugural address.

The resource persons of the programme Dr. Humayoon Kabeer (Former UGC Librarian,Govt.Brennen College,Thalassery) and Haskar Ali (Librarian ,Maadin Polytechnic) facilitated the programme.Sareef K, Librarian , Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College also gave felicitation.The session was concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr.Vahida Beegam T, Assistant Professor, Department of Library and Information Science.

The workshop started at 9.30 am at Informatics Centre and ended at 4.30 pm. On second day the session started at 9 am and ended at 4 pm.The workshop proved to be an invaluable platform for library professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of KOHA's advanced capabilities.
