PG & Research Department of Arabic, Farook College conducted an Exclusive Interaction with Zahran Al Qasimi, Arab Booker Prize Winner on 9 July 2023. He is the author of four novels, ten poetry collections, short stories and non-fiction works. 

Theme of Zahran Alqasmi’s ‘The Water Diviner’ which won the 2023 International Prize for Arabic Fiction is connection between man and water or more precisely between the Omanis and their ‘aflaj’, the irrigation systems that have long shaped Omani village life. Dr. Muhammed Abid UP, Dr. Sageerali T.P, Dr. Abbas K.P and Mr. Salman Farisi attended the interaction.
