Dr. Faheem Muhammed, Assistant Professor, Shaqra University, KSA stated that good academic writing is an excellent tool for communication and that it improves critical thinking skills. He was addressing the students and researchers under Research Lecture Series III on "Academic Writing," conducted by the PG and Research Department of Arabic, Farook College (Autonomous), Calicut.

Dr. Aysha Swapna K.A., Principal, Farook College, inaugurated Research Lecture Series III. Dr. Yunoos Salim, HOD, PG and Research Department of Arabic, presided over the session. Dr. Muhammed Abid UP, convener of Research Forum, welcomed the gathering, and Mr. Fathahul Ihsan, student coordinator of the Research Forum, proposed vote of thanks.
