The Department of Arabic & Islamic History, Farook College (Autonomous), conducted a two-day Orientation Programme for UG Freshers on 06-07 July 2026. Day 1: Ice-breaking session "Meet, Greet & Learn" by Mr. Abdul Sathar C. P. and Dr. Abdul Jaleel M., followed by an introduction to FYUGP in Arabic & Islamic History by Dr. Abdul Jaleel M. Day 2: Session on "Discovering Islamic History: Past, Heritage and Civilization" by Dr. Jayafar Ali, and a career guidance session "Arabic: Connecting Cultures, Careers and Communities" by Dr. Abdulla Najeeb M. Dr. Abbas K. P. coordinated the event under the guidance of the HoDs, the programme familiarized freshers with the curriculum, campus life, and career prospects, and concluded with positive student feedback.
