The Department of Multimedia, Farook College (Autonomous) has announced MITCON 2026, a two-day international conference focusing on "Multimedia & AI: Transforming Media, Creativity, and Research" to be held on 14 and 15 January 2026 at Farook College.

MITCON 2026 aims to bring together researchers, scholars, industry experts, and students to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping media production, storytelling, academic research, and creative industries. The conference will feature keynote addresses, plenary sessions, rapid-fire presentations, research paper sessions, and poster presentations, offering a dynamic platform for academic exchange.

The organisers have invited abstracts for papers and posters across themes including AI in media production, digital storytelling, journalism, marketing, gender diversity and ethics. The abstract submission deadline is November 15, 2025, and full papers are due by December 31.
