Taking a significant step forward in the digital media landscape, the Multimedia Department of Farook College officially launched its dedicated department website alongside the distribution of summer internship certificates, inaugurated by Adv. Fathima Thahliya, M.L.A.

Developed collaboratively by students and faculty, the new website serves as a primary platform to showcase the department's diverse activities and the creative works of its students to the wider world. The ceremony, held at the college's Parsons Hall, was presided over by Principal Prof. Dr. K.A. Aysha Swapna.

During the event, certificates were awarded to 13 students who successfully completed the summer internship course titled 'Social Media and Web Designing Using AI'. Additionally, Multimedia department student Mohammed Rinshif was honored for winning the ₹2,000 cash prize in the department's logo rebranding competition. Following the inauguration, Adv. Fathima Thahliya delivered an invited talk on the topic 'Ethical Media and Social Activism'.

The welcome address was delivered by Musammil T.P., Head of the Multimedia Department, with felicitations offered by faculty members Dr. Ajeena Rose, Arun V. Krishna, and Shameem Ahsan. Student representative Mohammed Hisham K.T. proposed the vote of thanks, in the presence of course graduates, parents, and members of the college faculty and student body
