Farook College (Autonomous) Wins Best Exhibition Stall Award at National Research Conference

Farook College (Autonomous), Kozhikode has been honoured with the Best Exhibition Stall Award at the National Research Conference & Kerala Higher Education Expo 2026, organised by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Kerala and the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC).The prestigious recognition was conferred in appreciation of the clarity, quality, innovation, and overall impact of the College’s research presentation among 59 participating institutions.
The Expo was held at Government College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram from 9th to 11th February 2026, bringing together leading higher education institutions from across the state.
During the three-day exhibition, Farook College showcased the research output of 11 recognised research departments, presenting a comprehensive overview of its multidisciplinary research ecosystem. The stall highlighted major research equipment and laboratory infrastructure, ongoing and completed projects, high impact factor publications, faculty research contributions, books published through the College Publication Division, and structured research policies ensuring ethical and quality research practices. The College also demonstrated its strong research promotion mechanisms, including RUSA-sponsored research projects, internal financial support systems, exchange programmes, the Foreign Visiting Faculty Scheme, and initiatives to strengthen undergraduate and postgraduate research engagement.
The institution was represented by Dr. Midhun Shah, Dr. Kavitha A. P., Dr. Sobha, and Mr. Vivek, who effectively explained the research initiatives and collaborations to academicians, policymakers, and students, reflecting the College’s sustained commitment to research excellence and societal advancement.
