Dr. Muhammed Yoosuf Awarded Prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowship at Nazarbayev University, Astana

Dr. Muhammed Yoosuf, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Farook College (Autonomous), selected for the prestigious Postdoctoral Fellow/Visiting Scientist position at the MEET Laboratory, Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan. Dr. Yoosuf’s selection reflects Farook College’s commitment to fostering globally competitive researchers and enhancing its international academic footprint.

During his fellowship, Dr. Yoosuf is collaborating with MEET Lab, School of Sciences and Humanities, and engaging in advanced research on Ionic Materials and Polymeric Membranes for Energy Storage and Separation Processes. This work is expected to contribute to cutting-edge developments in sustainable energy technologies.

Dr. Yoosuf’s academic journey has been marked by excellence. He completed his Ph.D. in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells under the supervision of Dr. K. R. Gopidas at the Photosciences and Photonics Section, CSIR–National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), one of India’s most prestigious research laboratories. His doctoral work in photochemistry and solar energy has contributed meaningfully to the scientific community.

He has also presented numerous research papers and published several articles in reputable international journals, showcasing his strong research background and dedication to scientific innovation.

Further strengthening his global collaborations, Dr. Yoosuf recently signed an MOU with Dr. Alavi Kunju Panthakkan, Associate Professor at the University of Dubai, opening new avenues for joint research and academic exchange.
