The Department of English (SF) organized an expertise talk on 22nd August 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The primary aim of the event was to inspire students and emphasize the ever-evolving nature of the English language. The session was well-structured, with both first and second-year students of the department actively participating.
The programme began with a prayer, followed by a welcome address from the coordinator, Roomi, who greeted the chief guest and other attendees. The Head of the Department, Prof. C Ummer, delivered the presidential address. The keynote speech was given by Mr. Fazil MP, a skilled language and life skills trainer and the founder of Illumine4English, a training platform. His session, titled "Effective Communication and Essential Skills in English," emphasized the importance of English and the necessity of communicative skills in the language. The interactive session engaged the students throughout.
