Wildlife Week Celebration on October 13, 2023

On October 13, 2023, the Postgraduate and Research Department of Zoology organized a captivating talk on "Man and Wildlife Conflict" as part of the Wildlife Week celebration. The session, held at 3:00 PM, featured the esteemed speaker, Abdul Gafoor Vayoli, Range Forest Officer (Rtd) from Silent Valley National Park.
The event served as a platform for discussing current issues related to human-wildlife conflict in Kerala, providing valuable insights and fostering an engaging interaction between the students and the speaker.
Additionally, the occasion included the well-deserved prize distribution for the winners of the interdepartmental wildlife quiz competition. The winners of the competition were as follows: The first prize went to Amal Hasin N, BSc Physics; the second prize was awarded to Safa Minsha, BA Economics; and the third prize was earned by Sahad CT, M.Lib.I.Sc.
Dr. P Abdul Gafoor welcomed the participants, and Dr. H Habeebrehman extended a gracious vote of thanks.
