 The necessity of early intervention in the disability sector was emphasized during the ProAct Early Intervention Summit organized jointly by the Psychology Department of Farook College and Thanal-Daya Rehabilitation Trust on 4 th and 5th December 2024.The two-day summit discussed the importance of early detection, diagnosis, and interventions for disabilities.

Dr. P.T. Baburaj, Kerala State Disability Commissioner, inaugurated the event. Farook College Principal Dr. K.A. Ayesha Swapna presided over the function, and Dr. Nisha K., Head of the Psychology Department, delivered the welcome address. Keynote speakers included Dr. M.K.
