On behalf of World Animation Day Celebrations, Dept. of Multimedia, Farook College (Autonomous) organized 3 Day VFX Workshop-'FX Mantra' in collaboration with Artbench on 5.6.7 November 2022 in UG Seminar Hall. The workshop was conducted as an external mentoring programme for the mentees in 2D/3D Graphics & Web team of STeP Capacity building programme of Dept. of Multimedia.

Artbench is a community of professionals seeking out the next-generation talents in various media industries, such as Film Visual Effects, Video Gaming, Advertising, Photography, Cinematography, Architecture, and Web. 6 members from Artbench spent 3 Days with the students interacting and doing practicals on Visual Effects techniques and methods. The workshop experience was an invaluable contribution to the attendees' motivation to enter the world of visual effects and make a career in it. 

A one minute visual effects video produced by the participants was created and screened as part of the workshop. Artbench distributed certificates for all the participants. Dr. Ajeena Rose, Asst. Prof. & Head, Dept. of Multimedia handed over the memento to the Artbench team. Artbench team, Mr. Muhammed Basil, Mr. Muhammed Aslam, Mr. Fajid Rahman, Mr. Rashid Ali, Mr. Zubair Kalathodi and Mr. Hashin Muhammed gave practical training to the students. Mr. Musammil T.P. Asst. Professor and STeP Coordinator, Mr. Arun V. Krishna, Mr. Ameer Salman, Ms. Shirin Nazer were present in the camp.
