The Seminar on "Women in Leadership" was organized by the Women's Cell at Farook College (Autonomous) on October 9, 2023.

The Women’s Cell conducted the event as part of the esteemed legacy of our principal, Dr. K.A. Aysha Swapna. The seminar aimed to discuss and celebrate the role of women in leadership positions.

The event commenced with the inaugural address delivered by Dr. K.A. Aysha Swapna, the principal of Farook College. In her opening remarks, Dr.K.A. Aysha Swapna emphasized the importance of empowering women in leadership roles and highlighted the need for fostering a more inclusive and gender-equal society.

Ms. Bindu Vijayan, the corporate trainer and resource person for the seminar on "Women in Leadership," delivered a comprehensive presentation covering a range of vital topics. Ms. Bindu Vijayan discussed the unique challenges and obstacles that women often encounter in leadership positions, including gender bias, stereotypes, and work-life balance. Her presentation motivated and equipped attendees with the knowledge, strategies, and inspiration needed to excel in leadership roles.

Naseeha CP, Secretary, Women's Cell, welcomed the gathering, and Nisha K, Head, Department of Psychology, proposed a vote of thanks.
