Forum of Research in English, Centre for Advanced Studies and Research in English Language and Literature, Department of English, Farook College (Autonomous) organized a two-day multidisciplinary online national conference on 'Embodied Identities: The Body in Cultural Spaces' on February 21 and 22, 2023.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. K. M. Naseer, Principal, Farook College (Autonomous), Kozhikode. Dr. Pramod K. Nayar, Professor, University of Hyderabad, delivered the keynote address. Eminent scholarly persons joined as resource persons for the plenary sessions, including Dr. Aneeta Rajendran, Associate Professor, Gargi College, University of Delhi; Dr. Shilpaa Anand from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad; Vikramaditya Sahai from Ambedkar University, Delhi; and Dr. Anilkumar from Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad.

We received around 260 registered participants and conducted 129 paper presentations by different candidates from across India. These sessions were chaired by 19 faculty members from the Department of English at Farook College, as well as assistant professors from nearby colleges.
