On September 29, 2023, at 11 a.m., the Postgraduate and Research Department of Zoology organized an interdepartmental wildlife quiz competition as part of the Wildlife Week observation.

Students from various departments of the college actively participated in the event, with Shabana V, a guest faculty member and former student of the department, serving as the quiz master. The competition saw outstanding performance, and the winners were announced as Amal Hasin (BSc Physics) securing the first prize, Safa Minha (BA Economics) the second prize, and Sahad CT (M.Li.I.Sc) the third prize. The achievement was lauded by Dr. A. P. Rashiba, Head of Zoology, Dr. K. Kishore Kumar, Head of Botany, and all the faculty members of the Zoology Department, making the event a successful celebration of Wildlife Week and academic excellence.
