The award is a testament to the continuous and dedicated programmes initiated by the Farook College NSS Units, which have significantly contributed to the success of the 'Lahari Mukta Keralam – Say No to Drugs' initiative. Dr. Mansoorali T., the Programme Officer of NSS Farook College Unit, received the award on behalf of the college. The prestigious event took place on October 27, 2023, at Vimala College, Thrissur, where the Farook College NSS team was applauded for their outstanding performance and substantial contributions to the 'Say No to Drugs' flagship programme of the State NSS Cell during the years 2022–23.
