In connection with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Women's Cell of Farook College (Autonomous) conducted a  Breast Cancer Awareness Programme on 31/10/22 at UG Seminar Hall. Dr.Anwar Hussain (Director of IPM, Kozhikkode) was the Resource Person. 

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a global healthcare event for the awareness of breast cancer, which is reminisced for the entire month of October every year for the past 37 years. This year 2022, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month theme is “Together We Rise” through which promoting  breast cancer literacy is  attempted across the world.

Ms. Rahana Moideen Koya (Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology) welcomed the gathering and Naseeha CP (Secretary,Women’s Cell), introduced the guest. Ms. Jamsheena P (Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics) proposed the vote of thanks and Dr. Badhariya Beegum P (Chairperson, Women’s Cell) presided over the function .

Ms. Jamsheena P (Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics) and Ms. Rahana Moideen Koya (Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology) coordinated the event.

Around 100 participants from different departments attended the session.
