The PG & Research Department of Mathematics at Farook College, in collaboration with IIC, Farook College, Global Science Festival Kerala, and Serah Zines LLP, successfully organized a talk on "Maths Career and Opportunities" on December 20, 2023, at MMI Hall, Farook Training College.

The event commenced with a welcome speech by Dr. Mohammed Yoosuf, the GSFK Kozhikode Outreach Coordinator. Dr. Shefeeq T, Head of Department in Charge of Mathematics, delivered the presidential address. The principal address and inauguration were carried out by Dr. K A Aysha Swapna, Principal of Farook College. Prof (Dr) T Mohammed Saleem, Principal of Farook Training College, expressed joy in collaborating with the Department of Mathematics, emphasizing the importance of bringing education closer to life.

The Serah-GSFK talk featured Hariprasad C K, Co-founder of Serah Zines LLP, introducing Serah as a startup dedicated to providing quality science education to differently-abled students. The Serah team, through talks by Anakha and Kavya, shared insights on career guidance, internship opportunities, entrance programs, and valuable thoughts on the job market, fostering an interactive session with students.
