Jumana N.P., a Ph.D scholar at Farook College's Department of Commerce and Management Studies, had the opportunity to attend a two-day colloquium on innovation and entrepreneurship at the Lincoln International Business School, University of Lincoln, Lincoln, UK. The event was held on April 27-28, 2023, and brought together scholars from around the world to discuss diverse facets of doctoral and post-doctoral careers, as well as different possibilities for carrying out empirical research in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Jumana N.P. was the only scholar from India who participated in the colloquium, where various journal editors, professors, and mentors discussed a range of entrepreneurship topics. She was even able to present her own research study during the event.

Jumana N.P. completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Commerce at Farook College and is currently the research scholar in the Department under the supervision of Dr. K. Samsudheen (Asst. Professor, Department of Commerce and Management Studies). She has recently had three papers accepted in Scopus-indexed journals.

The opportunity to attend the international colloquium has given Jumana N.P. valuable insights into the latest research and trends in entrepreneurship and innovation. It will undoubtedly benefit her ongoing doctoral studies and her future career as a scholar in this field.
