Dr. Kavitha A P completed M.Sc. Applied Chemistry, B.Ed. Physical Science and Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Calicut, Malappuram, Kerala. Her doctoral research is related to the “Development and performance evaluation of datamining models for designing inhibitors of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis". She has published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. She has been working as Assistant Professor in the PG & Research Department of Chemistry, Farook College, since 2008. Previously she had 4 years of teaching experience as HSST Chemistry at Vallappuzha HSS, Vallappuzha, Palakkad and about 2 years as Guest Lecturer in Chemistry at Farrok College. She served as the Head of the Department of Chemistry from 2020 to 2026 and is a member of various academic and administrative bodies of the college. She is currently serving as the IQAC Coordinator, contributing to the institution's quality assurance and academic development initiatives.
