Shabana T.P. completed MSc Zoology (2000), B.Ed Natural Science (2001) and M.Ed. (2004) from University of Calicut . Also she qualified CSIR-NET in 2002. She has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in the PG & Research Dept. of Zoology, Farook College since 2004. Now she has 19 years of teaching experience in PG & UG level. She has 8 years of administrative experience as Head of the Dept of Zoology (2013-2021) and 6 years of experience as Chairman, BoS in LifeSciences, Farook College. Now she is doing her PhD under the guidance of Dr. T.R. Sobha, Dept. of Zoology, Farook College. Her areas of research interests are Acarology, Entomology, Biochemistry and Molecular biology. She has written 2 chapters in edited books and 11 publications in journals and proceedings.
