Dr. N K Libeesh specializes in advanced remote sensing, imaging spectroscopy, and mineral exploration. He earned his BSc in Geology from AWH Special College (Calicut University), followed by an MSc in Applied Geology and Geomatics and a PhD in Geology from the Gandhigram Rural Institute - Deemed to be University. His doctoral research centered on imaging spectroscopic and geochemical studies of mafic and ultramafic complexes and their associated mineral resources in Tamil Nadu. Professionally, he has served as a DST-ANRF National Postdoctoral Fellow at MES Ponnani College, focusing on optimization techniques for mapping localized mineral complexes. Furthermore, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in reputable international journals and received the Best Paper Award in 2022 from Elsevier's Ore Geology Reviews.
