Biography

He has completed his master's in Applied Geology and Ph.D. in Geology from Anna University, Chennai. His doctoral research is related to the Landscape evolution of the area around Manasbal Lake, Kashmir Valley, more precisely "Late Quaternary Paleoenvironmental reconstruction of the area around Manasbal Lake, Kashmir Valley, India". Then, he did his Postdoctoral research at Centre for Water Resources Development and Management, Kozhikode with Kerala State Council for Science Technology’s (KSCSTE) meritorious post-doctoral fellowship. His research in CWRDM focuses on the Late Quaternary paleoclimate reconstruction based on the lake sediment core from Nilgiris, Southern India. In addition to his academic achievements, he spent around six months as a field geologist cum project assistant at National Centre for Earth Science Studies, Trivandrum, and worked as Guest faculty in Geology, at the Department of Geology, Yuvaraaja’s college, Mysore. Moreover, he has published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
