Anusree G. is pursuing Ph.D. in English (full-time) under the guideship of  Dr. Habeeb C. The title of her research is “Visible Injustice: A Critique of the Representation of the Disabled in Indian Visual and Print Media.” Disability Studies serves as the frame work of the research project . It explores the representational stratergy and stereotypes that exists around the disabled. Indian novels, autobiographies, and films are some of the sources of the research project. The linguistic aspects of discrimination is also critically analysed. It also discusses the intersectional aspects of disability.
