Biography
Ms. Jisha Alex is a Senior Research Fellow working on trauma graphic novels. Her research work intends to contribute to the burgeoning genre of Cultural Memory Studies and Vulnerability Studies. It focusses on documentary graphic novels and memoirs which discuss war, refugee crisis and vulnerability. The study closely analyses the intricacies of comics medium and its potential to delineate ineffably traumatic content. It also examines the contentious concepts of memory, competitive memory, precariousness, vulnerability and resilience.
