Dr. Kabeer V. is presently serving as Head & Research Supervisor, Postgraduate & Research Department of Computer Science, Controller of Examinations, Farook College (Autonomous) and Director, Digital Hub. Previously he was Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Applications, MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, Malappuram District. He has been in the field of Computer Science & Information Tech- nology as an Educator, Software Engineer and Researcher for more than 18 years now.

He did his Graduation in Physics from Govt. Arts and Science College, Calicut, Masters Degree in Computer Application from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam and his Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Information Technology from Kannur University. He has been the Coordinator of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for its MCA, BCA and CIT Programmes at Al-Farook Educational Centre, Farook College, Calicut, for more than 20 years now. He has also served as Co-ordinator of Computer Science Programmes at University of Calicut for its Study Centre at Manjeri for two years in 1999-2001.

Dr. Kabeer V., is an active Researcher in the field of Computer Science & Information Technology. He has more than 45 Research publications in his area of research which includes National & International Journals and Conferences. His research findings were presented in countries like France and Dubai. His Research interests include Image Processing, Automatic Face Recognition, Fuzzy Logic, Neural Network and Support Vector Machines. He has given more than 50 invited talks in the field of Information Technology and his area of Research. He served as member of Board of Studies in Computer Science of Calicut University, St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur, St. Joseph College(Autonomous), Devagiri, University of Calicut, Kannur University. He is the Chairman, Board of Studies at Farook College (Autonomous). He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and member of IEEE.
