Major Dr. Abdul Azees P. is a Professor of Commerce in the PG and Research Department of Commerce, Farook College (Autonomous), Kerala since 2 June 2008. He has been acting as an Associate NCC Officer since 13 October 2009 and is currently leading the NCC Army Sub-unit of the college in the rank of Major.
​He is a dedicated educator who earned his Master’s Degree in Commerce from Farook College in 2006 and earned his PhD from the University of Calicut in 2017. He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Studies - B.Com Honours of the University of Calicut. He has published 15 articles in indexed journals, has produced one PhD, and is currently guiding five research scholars for their PhD.
​Additionally, he is a member of the Institution Innovation Council of Farook College, the Convenor of the Anti-Drug Cell "Vimukthi" working under the Excise Department, Government of Kerala, and is in charge of the Kerala Startup Mission IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre) for the college. He also serves as the Joint Secretary of FOSA Commerce, (Farook College Old Students Association). Within his department, he is the Director of FACCOMS (the department's student council) and is in charge of the internship, placement, and mentoring programme.
