Dr. Sajith P. K. completed Ph.D. from CSIR-NIIST, Trivandrum in 2012. His doctoral research focused on theoretical studies of inorganic complexes. After Ph.D., he worked as post doctoral fellow at Kyushu University, Japan till 2015. Since February 2016, he has been working as Assistant Professor at Farook College (Autonomous), Kozhikode, Kerala. He received DST-SERB early career research award in 2019. He is a research guide at University of Calicut and four scholars are doing research under his guidance. Currently, his research focus on computational materials chemistry. He has over 10 years of teaching experience.
