Two Day Seminar and Photo Exhibition by Dept. of Botany on 16,17 September 2025

The Department of Botany, Farook College, in collaboration with the Kerala State Biodiversity Board, is organizing a two-day seminar on “Vanishing Voices of Nature: Challenges and Opportunities in Biodiversity Conservation”.

🗓️ Date: 16,17 September 2025
📍 Venue: Farook College (Autonomous)

The seminar will be inaugurated by Dr. K. P. Manju, District Coordinator, Kerala State Biodiversity Board, Kozhikode. Eminent scholars including Dr. N. S. Pradeep (Director, Malabar Botanical Garden), Dr. K. P. Rajesh (HOD, Botany, Guruvayurappan College), and Dr. Muhammed Jafar Palot (Scientist, Zoological Survey of India) will handle sessions.

Highlights also include a photo exhibition by renowned bird watcher Vijesh Vallikkunnu, Dr. C. Pramod, and Dr. K. M. Manudev.
