Assisitant Professor and Writer. Was born at Tharuvana in Wayanad district of Kerala. Studied at University of Calicut. Took PhD from University of Calicut on "The Folk Versions of Epic Stories in Wayanad". He has worked as a sub-editor at Mathrubhumi, Editor of the Kerala Language Institute and Assistant director of the Institute of Tribal Studies and Research at Chetalayam, Wayanad under the University of Calicut.
