The Graduation Ceremony for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. awardees
Dear Graduates,
Congratulations on your remarkable achievement!
The Graduation Ceremony for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. awardees will be held at the Farook College Convention Centre on 8th July 2025, Tuesday.
Registration Form
Graduation Fee
To participate in the Graduation Day Ceremony, all eligible graduates are required to pay ₹1,000 as registration fee. The fee covers: academic gown and cap (returnable), certificate and folder, digital photograph, refreshments for the graduate and guests, seating, procession participation, and awards for toppers.
- UG/PG Students: To be paid through the official online portal.
- Ph.D. Awardees: Payment instructions is provided within the registration form.
- Note down the receipt number / transaction ID for future references
Form Submission
- Fill in accurate details including: WhatsApp Number, Number of accompanying guests, Food preference (veg/non-veg)
- Upon successful submission, a QR code or link will appear. Kindly scan or click it to join the official WhatsApp group for further updates and instructions.
- Verify your Convocation registration status
Registration Deadline
- The registration deadline is 3rd July 2025, 12.00 PM. Submissions after this date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Only registered students will be permitted to attend the event and receive certificates on stage.
Guest Accompaniment:
- Each graduating student can bring accompanying guests. Refreshments will be provided for the graduate and a maximum of two guests only.
Reporting Time & Venue
- Venue: Report at the designated counter in the College Auditorium by 10:30 a.m. (the details of Counter will be shared later.)
- Latecomers will not be permitted to join the academic procession or participate in stage events.
Dress Code & Gown Collection
- Gowns and caps will be distributed from 11:00 a.m. onwards at the College Auditorium. (The details of the counter will be communicated later)
- Please ensure your gown is worn neatly and follow the instructions for proper cap placement.
- Gowns must be returned to the assigned collection point immediately after the event.
Academic Procession
- Graduates must assemble near the College Portico at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the academic procession. (The final schedule and order will be communicated later.)
- Maintain silence and decorum during the procession and follow the instructions of the ushers.
Seating Arrangement
- Each registered graduate will be assigned a specific seat number. You are required to occupy only your designated seat, as certificate distribution and photo display are arranged accordingly. Kindly remain in your assigned seat throughout the ceremony and refrain from occupying any other seat.
- Once seated, do not leave your seat until the end of the ceremony.
Certificate Distribution
- Certificates will be awarded to graduates only (not to parents), department-wise in alphabetical order, and in the order of registration numbers on stage.
- Wait for your name to be announced and walk confidently to the stage.
- Receive your certificate respectfully and acknowledge the dignitaries
- Return to your seat via designated path without disrupting the proceedings
Photography & Media
- Professional photographers will cover the event. You will be able to download your photos later using AI-powered facial recognition.
- Do not take selfies or personal photos during the ceremony on stage.
- Designated areas will be available for group and individual photos after the program.
Refreshments
- Lunch will be provided near the auditorium before the ceremony for registered graduates and their accompanying guests (maximum of 2 guests).
- Separate counters will be arranged based on your food preference (Veg/Non-Veg) as indicated in the registration form.
Transport & Parking
- Limited parking is available within the college premises on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All attendees are requested to follow the instructions of the security personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.
General Code of Conduct
This is a solemn and dignified academic ceremony. All graduates are expected to:
- Maintain discipline and decorum throughout the event
- Switch off or keep mobile phones on silent mode
- Avoid shouting, clapping, cheering, or making noise during speeches or name announcements
- Follow the instructions of the ushers and event coordinators
- Remain seated and attentive during the entire ceremony
