A talk on "psychology career opportunities in the government sector was done by Mr. Abdul Shukkoor T. K. (HSST Psychology, GHSS Mankada Pallipuram,Research Scholar, and Ex. Liaison Officer, CDMRP University of Calicut) for first-year students of the department of psychology at Farook College on Thursday, July 20, 2023. The programme was conducted as part of the Capacity Enhancement Programme.

The program started at 1:45 pm with the welcome speech of Dr. Nisha K. (HOD Psychology Department). The talk began with a discussion on strategies for eternal happiness, and then the resource person introduced the psychology career opportunities one by one with their scope, salary, and eligibility for that job. After the talk, a Q&A session was conducted, which helped students clarify their doubts.

The program feedback was given by Arshada,Adhila,Aysha Mubashira, and Vishnu. A vote of thanks was given by Dr.Saheera KT (Assistant Professor, Psychology Department). The programme ended at 3:20. It was a fruitful session.
