Department of Statistics


Established in 1982, the department of Statistics offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in Statistics. The undergraduate programme, 'Applied Statistics' is noted for its combination with Actuarial Science and Computer Application. The postgraduate programme is focused on Econometrics and Mathematical Economics and it carries scope for independent enquiry.  The department is a registered centre for research in Statistics.
