ADMISSION PROCEDURE


Aided Courses

Students shall be admitted to the various courses of study in the college on the basis of the rules prescribed by the University from time to time.
In each course of study, the seats are reserved for different categories as follows..
  1. 40% as general merit
  2. 20% as Community quata
  3. 20% as SC /ST quata

The seats are filled up on the basis of merit.  The Index of merit will be prescribed by the University from time to time


Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form within fifteen days after the publication of the results of the relevant public examination. Application form and prospectus can be had on payment of Rs. 30.00 in cash or Rs. 40.00 by Money Order. Postal Orders will not be accepted. All details including additional language and the first, the second and the third preferences should be entered carefully and after proper consideration. No change will be allowed after submission of application. Only application submitted in the proper form at the college office within the prescribed date and time will be considered. The name and address of the applicant are to be written correctly on the interview card and acknowledgment card. The application will be acknowledged by post only if the card is sufficiently stamped. List of selected candidates will be published on the college notice board. It is the responsibility of the candidates to verify whether they are selected and ascertain the date and time of interview. Representation for admission based on late receipt or non-receipt of interview cards will not be considered. Admission will be decided upon only after the interview. The issue of an interview card or notification of provisional selection list does not guarantee admission. The parent or guardian should accompany the student at the time of interview for admission. Candidates for admission should produce the following documents at the time of interview.

  1. +2 (Pre-Degree) or Degree mark list as the case may be.
  2. Transfer Certificate from the school or college last attended.
  3. Certificate of conduct from the Head of the institution last attended.
  4. Two copies of stamp size photo of the student.
  5. In the case of those who are eligible for fee concession, the income certificate in duplicate in the prescribed form, community and nativity certificates.
  6. In the case of PG admission two typed copies of mark list duly certified by Gazetted Officer or Principal or Professor in the College in addition to the original mark list.
  7. In the case of students of this College seeking admission to PG course clearance certificate from the Library, Laboratory, fee section, hostel, etc.
  8. Original Degree Certificate in the case of PG admission.
  9. In the case of students claiming NCC/NSS/Ex-Servicemen privileges or quota for physically handicapped, attach photocopies of Certificates from the competent authorities. Students seeking admission should get attested the copies of their SSLC book or mark lists or other certificates before they submit their originals in the College at the time of admission. It will be difficult to get copies of the same after admission. The original certificates will be returned from the College only after the course is completed and all dues to the college are cleared.


Self Financing

Admission to the courses of study will be made in the order of performance of candidate at the entrance examination.  In each course 50% seats are reserved as management quota, and the remaining 50% seats are filled up from the list prepared by University.
A minimum mark in the qualifying examination is prescribed by the management from time to time for filling up the seats under management quota.
