Department of Commerce


Established in 1951, the department has two streams of curriculum at the undergraduate level in addition to the postgraduate programme. The undergraduate programmes, B.Com and B.B.A., are sufficiently backed up by training in computer education. The programme in commerce at undergraduate level offers a special paper in Income Tax Law and Practice.  The post-graduate course has Financial Management and Taxation as special components.
