A 24-hour emergency outreach service, CHILDLINE is a free phone helpline (1098) for children in need of care & protection. It is a project under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India. CHILDLINE aims to reach out to the most marginalised children and provide intervention of shelter, medical, repatriation rescue, sponsorship, emotional support and guidance. Farook College is a nodal agency of the CHILDLINE, the aim of which is to protect the right of children and ensuring access to quality service and technology to the poorest of the poor.
